Supporting a community of fighters as they make the journey to overcoming cancer.
For years, Because There is Hope has connected patrons with host homes to ease the burden of travel, with aspirations to offer a space of their own for comfort. In August of 2013, this dream became a reality with the acquisition of a home that was dedicated in memory of Melody’s dear friend, Faye McLain.
Hospitality House became the cornerstone of the BTIH’s outreach. Offering safe haven in physical form; a warm and inviting four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence in the Spokane Valley. Seeking to create a home away from home for those commuting long-distance to be treated, the house includes a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and a common area for reading, relaxing, and watching television. The house accommodates up to three patrons at a time, along with an on-site manager.
