A memorial donation, large or small, is a donation made to commemorate a beloved friend or family member who has passed away. Some survivors specifically request that mourners make a memorial gift to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation. In some cases, mourners may make a memorial gift of their own accord.
How do we use your memorial donation?
Memorial donations are used to help current cancer patients and their families with transportation expenses, dietary needs, emotional support, and other needs on a case by case basis. Your donation could help a family get their child to treatment, help a woman find a wig, or supply a patients with lodging while undergoing intensive treatment.
How can I make a memorial donation?
Simply send the donation to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation, 1031 W Broadway Ave Moses Lake WA 98837 US, with a short note indicating who the gift is intended to commemorate. We will send notification of your gift (although not the amount) to the deceased's spouse or children. We will also send an acknowledgment of the gift to you.
How do I arrange for memorial donations to be made in honor of a recently deceased loved one?
The best way to suggest a memorial donation is to mention it in your loved one's obituary. If you can, include our address, 1031 W Broadway Ave Moses Lake WA 98837 US, so that people will know where to send their gift. We can also provide brochures for you to make available at the location of the funeral. If you can, please let us know that you plan to request memorial gifts.
